Today is Tomorrow's Yesterday

I like that saying, i do not know if i have heard anyone say it, but i have said it on a few occasions. Eh, i noticed something today, I am feeling very well. As compared to the past few days, today was fantastic, even though i had to work.

Now, to a new topic (i lost my train of thought in the above paragraph, so here is a new one!).

Cyanide and Happiness is a internet comic series over at http://www.explosm.net/

One of my favorite comics they have done is the one posted below. I can not stop thinking and laughing about it, it is a curse really.

A sick and disturbing mind? Maybe...hehe...heh...he...yeah...
That concludes this post. Again, i will leave you with some food for thought.

Dante's Inferno

(excerpt of the begining)

MIDWAY upon the journey of our life

I found myself within a forest dark,

For the straightforward pathway had been lost.

Ah me! how hard a thing it is to say

What was this forest savage, rough, and stern,

Which in the very thought renews the fear.

Magic 8 ball says, "Try again tomorrow."

SICK.....

for the past 4 days ive been under the weather. Nasty cough, sore throat, and with the coughing urgues me to vomit....which has happened a few times...

I went to the doctor yesterday, not strep throat...I guess theres some good and bad to it. Good: i dont have strep, Bad: i have something else they think a virus which means no medicene will help that they can perscribe.

Lack of energy, headache, chills= fun days sitting on my bed waiting for this sickness to rid itself from my beloved body.

Wish me luck!

Been busy

To those that follow:

Ive been fairly busy with work and school to take time to make new posts.

Updates: Ive been opening at my job which means getting up at 430am and starting my day, then continuing on to school after work. Getting burned out quick, good thing spring break is a week away)

Also saw Watchmen, and i thought it was amazing (although i did not read the comics, i most likely will read them).

Food for thought:

Ozymandias
I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown
And wrinkled lip and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read,
Which yet survive stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal these words appear:
'My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my works. Ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away

This sunday

I am going to church for the first time in about 4 years, yes...years. This is not all my choice, but i was asked to be a Godfather for my sister's baby girl. So i am 'forced' to go and take part in the baptism...wooo...To be honest, i do not really see the point of this whole act, but what ever, it makes her (my sister) happy.

INTP

I took a personality test and the results are:

INTP

Introverted 67%//Intuitive 38%//Thinking 62%//Perceiving 11%

(% is the strenght of those attributes)
INTPs are pensive, analytical folks. They may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually are oblivious to the world around them.

Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists.

INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to almost anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves.
A major concern for INTPs is the haunting sense of impending failure. They spend considerable time second-guessing themselves. The open-endedness (from Perceiving) conjoined with the need for competence (NT) is expressed in a sense that one's conclusion may well be met by an equally plausible alternative solution, and that, after all, one may very well have overlooked some critical bit of data. An INTP arguing a point may very well be trying to convince himself as much as his opposition. In this way INTPs are markedly different from INTJs, who are much more confident in their competence and willing to act on their convictions.

Mathematics is a system where many INTPs love to play, similarly languages, computer systems--potentially any complex system. INTPs thrive on systems. Understanding, exploring, mastering, and manipulating systems can overtake the INTP's conscious thought. This fascination for logical wholes and their inner workings is often expressed in a detachment from the environment, a concentration where time is forgotten and extraneous stimuli are held at bay. Accomplishing a task or goal with this knowledge is secondary.

INTPs and Logic -- One of the tipoffs that a person is an INTP is his or her obsession with logical correctness. Errors are not often due to poor logic -- apparent faux pas in reasoning are usually a result of overlooking details or of incorrect context.
Famous INTPs:
Socrates
Rene Descartes
Sir Isaac Newton

My current situation

Well, i have been without my laptop for about a month now. First the CPU went out, sent it in to get it replaced, got it back about a week ago. Worked great! for about 4 hours, then crapped out on me again. This time, i have no clue whats wrong, could be the back light (doubtful) or the motherboard (most likely). I should be getting it back sometime this week or early next week. But for now, im on a chunky desktop thats not too new. *sigh* I guess it could be worse.
